UPRIGHT FRAME INSTRUCTIONS
STEP 1
• Place two vertical beams on the floor, parallel to one another
and about 14" (35.6 cm) apart. The widest part of the
teardrop-shaped hole pattern on each beam should be facing
away from you.
STEP 2
• At the top and bottom of each vertical beam is a U-shaped
bracket with two pre-drilled holes. Both the horizontal beams
and diagonal beams are to be inserted into these brackets.
STEP 3
• Starting at the top U-shaped bracket for either vertical beam,
insert one end of a horizontal beam into the bracket and place
the free end into the bracket on the opposite vertical beam.
Repeat for the bottom U-shaped brackets on both vertical
beams.
STEP 4
• Insert one end of the diagonal beam into a top U-shaped
bracket, and insert the free end into the opposite bottom
bracket. This will create a Z-formation. To prevent the frames
from twisting, make sure the diagonal beams are placed
underneath the horizontal beams in eachbracket. The fit is
tight, but will accept the ends of both beams. Drop a carriage
bolt into all four holes and secure with a nut at the opposing ends
(hand-tighten only).
Repeat Steps 1-4 to assemble the second upright frame.
NOTE
:
Wait until the rack is fully assembled before completely tightening
the bolts with a wrench.
