Section 13 – Landing Gear and Wheel Installation

Step 2

Install the landing gear using two 8-32 x 3/4" screws.
Note that one edge of the gear is straight and the other
at a slight angle. The straight side faces forward.

Step 3

Hold the wheel pant so it is parallel to the bottom of the
fuselage. Mark the location for the wheel pant screw.

Note

: It may be necessary to open the notch

in the wheel pant slightly to fit over the hex
on the axle.

Step 4

Drill the location for the pant screw using a
5/32" drill bit.

Step 5

Insert a 4-40 blind nut into the hole from the inside
of the wheel pant.
