Required Tools and Adhesives
• Side cutters
•Phillips screwdriver
• Hex wrench: 1 .5mm
• Threadlock
• Servo w/hardware
• Clear silicone
• Y-harness
Step 1
Attach the strut mounts to the top of the left and right
floats using four 4-40 x 1/-inch machine screws for
each strut mount .
Note
: Always use threadlock on
metal-to-metal fasteners to prevent
them from vibrating loose .
Step 2
Install the rudder servo into the right float using the
hardware provided with the servo .
Step 3
Attach the water rudder mount to the rear of the right float
using four 4-40 x 1/-inch machine screws . Slide the
pushrod wire into the pushrod tube threaded end first .
Step 4
Thread a clevis onto the pushrod wire . Use side cutters to
remove any excess arms from the servo horn . Attach the
clevis to the servo arm and secure the arm to the servo .
