Attaching the column and socket assembly

Thread the columns 1 and 2 (C/D), the rod assembly (B), the socket assembly (A) and the base (E) together as shown.
Hand-tighten until snug.
As you thread the columns (C/D) , the socket assembly (A) and the base (E) together, continuously pull the power cord (F)
from the bottom of the base (E).
Adjust the arm of the socket assembly (A) to your desired location and secure the knurled nut (1). Hand-tighten until snug.
