Threading the cord
Feed the cord and fixture ground wire into
the center hole of the screw collar loop
(HH), through the nipple (EE), and then out
of the outlet box.
Continue feeding the cord and fixture
ground wire until there is no slack
remaining.
Cut off any excess cord and fixture ground
wire, leaving 6 in. extending from the outlet
box.
Split and separate the fixture cord and strip
off 3/8 in. of insulation from each wire.

Connecting the wires
Loop the fixture ground wire around the
ground screw located on the mounting
bracket (JJ) and leave 4 in. of wire
extending from the ground screw.
Tighten the ground screw against the
mounting bracket (JJ).
Connect the black supply wire to the
smooth fixture wire using a wire nut (BB).
Connect the white supply wire to the ribbed
fixture wire using a wire nut (BB).
Connect the fixture ground wire and the
supply ground wire together using a wire
nut (BB).
Wrap all wire connections with electrical
tape for a more secure connection.
Carefully tuck all wire connections into the
outlet box.
