NOTE
BEFORE STARTING INSTALLATION,
DISCONNECT THE POWER BY TURNING OFF
THE CIRCUIT BREAKER OR REMOVING THE
FUSE AT FUSE BOX. TURNING POWER OFF
USING THE FAN SWITCH IS NOT SUFFICIENT
TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK.
Snap together the 9 pin connection plugs. One
from the fan motor assembly, and the other
from the mounting plate. (Fig. 15)
Remove the 1 of 3 screws from the posts of the
mounting plate and keep it for future use.
Loosen the other 2 screws. (Do not remove)
While holding the light plate under your fan
motor assembly, locate two single white and
blue wires in the switch housing labeled FOR
LIGHT. Make the polarized plug connections:
- White to white
- Blue to black
Place the key holes on the light plate over the 2
screws previously loosened, turn the light plate
until the light plate locks in place at the narrow
section of the key holes. Secure by tightening
the 2 screws previously loosened and the one
previously removed. (Fig. 15)
Install 100 watt halogen bulb (provided) to the
light socket. (Fig. 16)
Raise the glass shade up against the mounting
plate and secure the glass shade to the fan by
turning the glass shade counterclockwise until
snug. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN. (Fig. 17)
