Assembly - Installing the Fan with the Light Kit

Attaching the light kit fitter
assembly

11

Remove the three mounting screws (SS) on the black bracket
below fan motor assembly (E).

Attach the light kit fitter assembly (J) to the switch cup (F) by
first removing the decorative plug (ZZ) on the bottom of the
switch cup (F). Insert the wires from the light kit fitter assembly
(J) through the hole in the bottom of the switch cup (F). Thread
the light kit fitter assembly (J) into the hole on the bottom of
the switch cup (F). Secure with the hex nut (TT) provided.

Connect the blue wire exiting the bottom of the switch cup (F)
with the black wire from the top of the light kit fitter assembly
(J). Connect the white wire exiting the bottom of the switch
cup (F) with the white wire from the top of the light kit fitter
assembly (J).

Connect the wire from the switch cup (F) to the wires exiting
the fan motor assembly (E) by connecting the molded adaptor
plugs together. Carefully tuck all wires and splices into the
switch cup (F).

Mount the switch cup (F) to the black bracket below the fan
motor assembly (E) by aligning the three screw holes and
securing with three screws (SS) that were removed in step 1.

WARNING:

To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect

the electrical supply circuit to the fan before installing the

light fixture.

Installing the glass shades
and bulbs

12

Remove the finial (WW), bottom cover (QQ), hex nut (PP) and
rubber washer (OO) from the light kit fitter assembly (F).

With power off, install the two LED bulbs (K)(Max. 9.5W) by
screwing into the light bulb sockets.

Position the glass bowl (J) over the threaded nipple and
pass the fan switch chain through the chain guide on the
side of the light kit fitter assembly (F).

Position the decorative cap (I) over the threaded nipple and
re-install the rubber washer (OO) and hex nut (PP) to the
threaded nipple to secure the glass bowl (K) properly. Do
not over tighten the hex nut (PP), over tightening the hex nut
(PP) may cause the glass to break.

Re-install the bottom cover and finial and finger tighten the
finial (WW).

Attach the chain switch (EE) to the fan and light chains.

NOTE:

Notice the location of the fan’s reverse switch (RR).

This is the switch used to change the fan’s directional

rotation. For more information on the operation of this switch,

see Operating Your Fan on page 13.
