Cassette Operation
10. Adjust the VOLUME, if necessary.
11. To stop recording, press STOP/EJECT button. When the playing tape reaches the end of recording
it be stopped automatically.
Note: If echo effect function is used during recording, the echo effect will be recorded.
OPERATION RECORDING
To continuously play two pre-recorded tapes from deck B to deck A, operate the unit as follows:
Within Recording, no volume adjustment is necessary, recording level is automatically set.
CASSETTE TAPE SELECTION
The quality and condition of the cassette tapes used will have a direct effect on the performance of
this unit. Low quality tapes tend to break and stretch, and a broken tape can easily become en-tangled
in the drive mechanism, causing major damage. Stretched tapes will run at un-even speeds and will
distort anything recorded on them.
Recording from the built-in Radio
- Recording is possible only with Deck A, the following instructions are relevant to that deck alone.
1. Tune to the desired station.
2. Press the STOP/EJECT button to open the cassette compartment, insert a cassette into the Deck A
cassette compartment.
3. Press the REC and PLAY button.
4. Depress the PAUSE button to temporarily discontinue recording. The tape will stop at this point. To
resume recording from the same point, release the PAUSE button by deprssing it a second time.
When you have finished recording, press the "STOP" button.
All buttons will be released automatically when the end of tape is reached. However, radio reception
will continue uninterrupted. If it is desired to turn off the radio at this time, slide the FUNCTION switch
to the TAPE position.
Dubbing from deck B to deck A
- The unit's dual deck system permits dubbing operations without the use of another tape deck.
Dubbing is performed from Deck B onto Deck A.
- Normal-speeding dubbing is performed with this unit.
1. Insert a pre-record cassette tape into the cassette compartment of Deck B, and insert the blank tape
into the cassette compartment of Deck A.
2. Slide the FUNCTION switch to the TAPE button.
3. Press Deck B and Deck A PAUSE button.
4. Press Deck B PLAY button and Deck A REC and PLAY button.
5. Press Deck B and Deck A PAUSE button again then Dubbing start.
Tape Counter
1. While cassette playback in “B” deck, the counter will calculate the play time from 000 to 999.
2. Press the counter button to reset the counter to 000.
Variable Tape Speed
Rotate the TAPE SPEED switch to adjust the tape speed fast or slow for up to +/- 20%.
