When using your cooler/warmer, basic safety precautions should
always be followed, including the following:

Read all instructions.

Do not use AC power converter outdoors.

Always store appliance indoors.

4.

To protect against risk of electric shock, do not allow the unit to
get wet. Protect from rain.

5.

The unit should always be turned to OFF before plugging or
unplugging from outlet. Never yank cord to disconnect from 
outlet; instead, grasp plug and pull to disconnect.

6.

Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces.

Do not heat sealed containers.

8.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or
after the appliance malfunctions or is dropped or damaged in
any manner. Call our toll-free customer service number for 
information on examination, repair, or adjustment.

This appliance is not a toy. Keep away from children.

10.

Do not insert any object into vent openings. 

11.

Do not block vent openings.

12.

Do not operate unattended for extended periods of time.

13.

Do not place ice or liquids in this appliance unless they are
enclosed in a container.

14.

Never operate in an enclosed space. Always ensure that there 
is adequate ventilation and free flow of air around the unit,
AC/DC converter, and DC power cord.

15.

Use only the power cords supplied with the unit. If cord
becomes worn or damaged, discontinue use immediately.

16.

Never immerse unit in water or other liquids.

17.

Do not defrost food in thermoelectric cooler/warmer.

AC/DC Converter:

The AC/DC converter provided with this appliance is equipped with a
grounded-type 3-wire cord (3-prong plug). This type of plug will only
fit into an electrical outlet made for a 3-prong plug. This is a safety
feature intended to help reduce the risk of electrical shock. If the
plug should fail to fit contact a qualified electrician to replace the
obsolete outlet. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the
grounding pin by modifying the plug in any way.
