Using Pulse Setting
PULSE can be used with variable speeds to control chopping action or to encourage mixing of ingredients.

Turn variable speed control
knob from (OFF) to 1.
Fill by opening lid. Add
ingredients.
Place lid on jar. Plug in blender.
Place blender jar on base.
Hold down the PULSE button
for the desired time. Blender
will turn off automatically after
blending for 5 minutes.
FOR HOT LIQUIDS
WARNING
Burn Hazard.
When blending hot liquids,
remove filler-cap of two-piece
lid. Do not exceed the 6-cup
(1420-ml) level. Hot liquids may
push off two-piece lid during
blending; therefore, with the
protection of an oven mitt or
thick towel, place one hand on
top of the lid, keep exposed
skin away from the lid, and start
blending at lowest speed.
NOTE: Do not blend hot liquids for more than 3 minutes when
using PULSE. Allow blender to cool between each use.
