8. Remove the top shield by removing the cotter pins and sliding
the top shield down from the guide rods and motor shaft.
9. Remove the metal drain grate at the bottom of the wash
chamber and wash away any accumulated food bits.
Replace the grate.
10. Pour 1 cup (250 ml) of sanitizer into the wash chamber to rinse
away any leftover food bits. For stubborn foods, use hot, soapy
water with a soft-bristled brush to gently remove foods.
11. Immerse the top shield, agitator, cup holder, and shield cover
in a cleaning solution and wipe with a soft cloth or sponge.
Rinse and sanitize.
Do not clean using an automatic dishwasher.
Immerse parts in sanitizing solution for 2 minutes and
afterwards rinse with clean water.
12. Clean and sanitize the blender motor shaft from top to bottom
using a washcloth.
13. Clean the housing and wash chamber gasket.
