7.2 Automatic Bluetooth connection (after
successful pairing)
•
Terminal devices already paired with the record player are
automatically saved on the record player.
•
If your terminal device is being paired with the record
player for the first time, proceed as described under
7.1
Bluetooth pairing.
•
Make sure that your Bluetooth-capable terminal device is
on and Bluetooth is activated.
•
The devices will be automatically connected. If necessary,
open the Bluetooth settings on your terminal device and
select HAMA
TT3000RBT
.
•
Start and control audio playback using the controls of the
terminal device.
Note – Connection impaired
After the record player and terminal device have been
paired, a connection is established automatically.
If the Bluetooth connection is not established
automatically, check the following:
•
Check the Bluetooth settings of your terminal device to
see whether HAMA
TT3000RBT
is connected. If not,
repeat the steps listed under ‘Bluetooth pairing’.
•
Check whether your terminal device and the record
player are less than 10 metres apart. If not, move them
closer together.
•
Check whether obstacles are impairing the range. If so,
move the devices closer together.
8. Auxiliary Input
You can use the analogue audio input (AUX IN socket) to
connect mobile devices (for example, smartphone, tablet
PC, MP3 player, etc.) to the record player and play your
audio files using the record player.
•
Enable
Auxiliary Input (Aux)
operating mode by
repeatedly pressing [
MODE
].
•
‘
AUX
’ is constantly lit in the display (10) after the
connection has been successfully established.
•
Connect your mobile device to the audio input (
AUX IN
socket) of the record player using a 3.5-mm audio cable
(jack cable).
•
Start and control audio playback using the controls on
the connected terminal device.
9. Digitising records
Note – Storage medium
•
The storage medium must be formatted using the
FAT32 file system.
•
The recording is saved on the storage medium as an
mp3 file with a bit rate of 128kB/s.
•
Always connect only one storage medium for
saving the recording. It is recognised by the device
automatically.
•
Do not use a USB cable to connect USB volumes to
the USB interface. The USB port is intended only for
directly connecting USB storage devices.
•
Switch on the record player as described in section
•
Press [
MODE
] (17) repeatedly until the display shows
“PH”. The device is now in
playback mode
.
•
Place a record on the turntable.
•
If necessary, place the 45 rpm adapter on the turntable
as described in section
.
•
Select the correct rotation speed using the rotation speed
control [
33 SPEED/45 SPEED
] (8).
•
Insert an USB stick into the record player’s USB port (18).
•
Alternatively, insert an SD/MMC card into the record
player’s SD card slot (19).
•
Wait until the record player has recognised the storage
medium. “LOD” appears on the display.
•
Press [
REC
] (11) to start the recording.
•
Move the tone arm to the desired place on the record.
The turntable starts turning automatically.
•
During the record, [
USB/SD
] appears on the display.
•
Press [ ] (13) to stop recording.
•
After the recording is stopped, playback of the stored
audio file begins automatically.
