CAT5e/6 HDMI Extender
The HDMI extender set converts and transmits HDMI signals up to 40 metres at 1080p over
a CAT5e/6 cable. For example, existing network cables in a building can be used with this
extender. It is the ideal solution for a wide range of applications that transmit high-defi nition
video data over long distances.
Installation:
Connect the transmitter to an HDMI source (e.g. DVD player) using the HDMI cable (not
included). Connect the receiver to an output device (e.g. television) using the HDMI cable
(not included). Now connect the transmitter and receiver with a CAT5e/6 cable (not included).
Connect the two enclosed power supply units to the transmitter and receiver. The power LEDs
on the transmitter and receiver light up.
Note:
The maximum possible cable length depends on the transmission format and cable quality.
Safety instructions:
1. Protect the device from dirt, moisture and overheating, and use only in dry spaces.
2. Do not open up the device. If the device becomes damaged, discontinue use.
Only allow specialists to repair the device.
3. Only use dry, soft cloths for cleaning.
4. Warning: As with all electrical devices, this device should be kept out of the reach
of children.
5. Keep away from direct sunlight, radiators and vibrations. Protect from dust.
6. If you do not intend to use the device for a long period, disconnect it from the power supply.
7. The device is designed for power grids with AC 100 ~ 240 V / 50 Hz.
