Troubleshooting

Q:

The   camera   is   registered   but   I’m   not   getting   any   camera   images   to   my   account?

Check   the   network   connection   and   Ethernet   cable.   Try   unplugging   the   Ethernet   cable   and   power

cable   from   the   back   of   the   camera   and   leave   it   for   at   least   30   seconds.      After   30   seconds,   plug   the

Ethernet   cable   and   power   supply   cable   back   in   and   go   through   the   registration   process   again.

Q:

The   green   power   light   on   the   front   of   the   camera   does   not   stop   flashing   after   15-‐20

seconds   following   start   up?

The   network   light   will   be   lit   any   time   there   is   a   network   detected,   but   if   the   power   light   flashes

this   is   indicative   of   a   network   connection   error.      Check   the   cables   and   connections,   unplug   the

Ethernet   cable   and   power   cable   from   the   back   of   the   camera   and   leave   it   for   at   least   30   seconds.

If   you   are   trying   to   enable   wireless   operation,   check   you   have   the   correct   details   for   your   wireless

network   –   you   may   need   to   contact   your   broadband   service   provider.      Re-‐connect   the   Ethernet

and   power   cables   and   re-‐enter   your   wireless   network   settings   in   the   Settings   section   of   My   View.

After   clicking   Finish,   unplug   the   Ethernet   and   power   cables   again   and   leave   for   at   least   another   30

seconds.      After   this   time,   plug   the   power   cable   only   back   into   the   camera   and   test   again.
