CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Please observe the following care instructions so that you can enjoy the piece of
furniture for a long time. Incorrect, improper use, handling and cleaning can damage
parts or the entire product.
SOLID WOOD IN GENERAL
Wood changes colour over time and will inevitably darken.
Please note that colour variations are possible with any subsequent purchases. This
is not a production defect and is therefore not covered by the guarantee.
Darkening is caused by UV radiation. To keep the process of darkening to a mini-
mum, we recommend a location away from direct sunlight.
To restore the original colour, the surface of the piece of furniture can be sanded
and then oiled.
The oil soaks in differently due to the shape, so the surface may look slightly diffe-
rent on the round bars than on the shelves.
LOCATION / USE
• The shelf is only suitable for indoor use.
• Do not push or pull the furniture across the floor when you want to move it. This
could damage both the legs and the floor. Always lift the furniture to move it.
• Keep the furniture away from naked flames, hot surfaces and direct sunlight.
• Place hot objects on a trivet
• Moisture can damage the furniture. Wipe up any drops of water immediately and
clean the piece of furniture with a dry cloth.
• Avoid too much cold or heat, as cracks can occur.
• A room temperature of 18 to 21 °C and a humidity of 45 to 55% are optimal.
