NOTE: The indicator may return to the nonviable

position when the engine is shut oﬀ . To
check, reset indicator and turn on the
engine, if it locks in visible position again
clean or change element.

Air Filter Element Removal

1.  Turn oﬀ  the engine and set the parking brake.
2.  Lift the engine cover.
3.  Locate the air ﬁ lter and loosen the retaining

clamp.

4. Remove the dust cup.
5. Pull the rubber plug out of the dust cup and

empty the contents.

6. Pull the air ﬁ lter elements out of its housing.

Air Filter Cleaning

1. Once you have removed the air ﬁ lter elements,

empty the dust cup and clean the interior of the
air ﬁ lter housing.

2. Use an air hose to blow out the air ﬁ lter

elements. Air pressure should be 100 psi or less.
