8.3.2. „•” symbol: recommended default setting
This is the default setting of the regulator, we recommend it as the first setting.
In this setting, a unit of properly chosen volume will surely satisfy your hot water
need with average use. If you find that hot water supply is satisfactory in the “—”
setting, you are advised to choose this setting in the future.
Since ”—” is the lowest mode of use, the tank ensure the best energy efficiency
int his setting. Compared to the maximum temperature setting, scaling and
corrosion are also significantly reduced with this setting.

” symbol: maximum manual mode: 75 °C
If you rotate the knob after the ”++” setting, you can continuously adjust the tem -
perature of water in the tank between 60 and 75 °C. If you choose this setting, the
product will function as a conventional water heater. If you need more hot water
than usually (e.g. for guests coming), this setting will keep the water temperature
at the selected value. In this setting, the benefits offered by the self­learning func -
tion are not available, thus we recommend this setting on a temporary basis only!
9. MAINTENANCE AND SERVICING
If you discover leakage from the interior of the tank or any other sign of irregular
operation, promptly disconnect the appliance from the electrical network using
the main electrical switch, and also from the water supply network using the clos -
ing valve. Contact a qualified technician!
Only properly qualified professionals (and during the warranty period,
exclusively our contracted service partners) may perform repair or main -
tenance on the appliance! During repair or maintenance operations, the
appliance must be restored in its original condition, as released from
the factory. To maintain the warranty, remember to have the repair doc -
umented by the technician on the attached guarantee document.
Leakage of the hot water tap may cause the harmful overheating of the appliance.
Repairing the tap is your interest.
9.1. Combined safety valve
Before putting into use, check if the outlet of the valve is blocked, and if flow to -
wards the open airspace is ensured during the operation of the valve. Outlets
must look downwards.At least every two months, blow off the valve by turning
the blow­off button of thesafety valve in the direction indicated by the arrow. This
will clean the valve seat of any possible sand deposit, preventing its adhesion. The
leakage of the valve while in operation is a functional phenomenon. If the leakage
does not stop when the heating is switched off, have the appliance checked by a
technician. In such cases,you are advised to request the annual inspection of the
product.
