Before the first time you use your Pie Maker

Please read these operating instructions thoroughly and keep them in a safe
place for future reference.
Remove all packaging materials including in between the plates inside the Pie
Maker.
Before using, wipe the ceramic plates with a soft, clean, damp cloth.
Close the Pie Maker and plug into a suitable wall socket and pre-heat for 10
minutes.

Note

You may notice some smoking coming from the Pie Maker during this

initial phase, this is normal.

Season the ceramic plates with vegetable oil and remove excess with kitchen
towel. There is no need to season the plates again.

Warning:

Do not immerse the appliance, cord or plug in water. To remove any

excess dust that may have accumulated during packing, wipe the exterior with
a clean, soft, damp cloth. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners on any part of
the appliance.

Instructions for use

Place your Pie Maker on a stable, level, non-flammable surface and place the
pastry and filling. Close the cover and plug into a suitable wall socket, the red
indicator will illuminate indicating that the appliance is powered on and is
heating. In approximately 3-8 minutes the green indicator will illuminate.

The green indicator will cycle on and off during the cooking process indicating
that the correct cooking temperature is being maintained.

Always keep the top cover closed when pre-heating or between uses.

NOTE:

All pie fillings, particularly meats should be precooked before

placing in the Pie Maker
