6.2 Adjustment and locking mechanism

By means of the safety joint [C], the individual ladder

parts are unlocked and are locked again after the ladder

has been brought into the desired set-up position.
For adjusting one of the ladder parts, both of the

safety joints on opposite sides of the ladder have to be

activated.
1. Original position: the ladder is locked, and the stop

button [C-2] is in the ‘LOCKED’ position.

2. Pull up the lever [C-1], and the ladder is unlocked.

The stop button [C-2] is in the ‘UNLOCKED’ position.

3. The ladder part [A-1] can now be adjusted to the

desired position.

4. The ladder part [A-1] audibly clicks into place auto-

matically. The ladder is locked, and the stop button

[C-2] is again in the ‘LOCKED’ position.

This procedure is repeated once again to adjust the lad-

der or bring it into another set-up position.
