Short Message (SMS)
SMS is a network service, which enables you to send, receive, and
edit text messages from your mobile phone.
1. Create message
In the Message window, select
‘Create message’
menu. Before you
start, make sure that the number of the service center is set. The
number is supplied by the service provider and is usually saved on
the SIM card.
If you have entered a wrong letter or number, press Delete to erase
the last entry or press and hold Delete to erase the whole writing.
Guobi text input
In guobi text input, you can key in characters by pressing a
letter key once for each character. This input method uses a
dictionary built into the phone.
Write a word by using the keys 2/ABC to 9/WXYZ. Press each
key only once for one letter. A word or group of words that
can form using those letter/s will display. The word/s may
change after each key press.
To insert a common punctuation mark or symbol, press *
key, the symbol input will display. Scroll to the character and
then
press
Accept.
If the displayed word is the one you want, confirm it by
pressing
Accept and then write the next word.
If the word is not the one you want, press Up-Down,
Left-Right keys to select the word on the group display.
Using traditional text input ABC, abc, or 123
Check what is shown at the top of the display. Press a key one
or more times until the desired character is displayed. Not all
available characters are printed on the keys. The characters
