5. Align the three tabs of the light shield with the holes in the opening and push up
to snap it in place.
6. Reconnect power.
TROUBLESHOOTING

Turn on/reset the circuit
breaker or replace the fuse.
Poor Airflow
Aluminum grease filters

Clean and dry the filters, and
then reassemble.
Motor running, but
no airflow.
Butterfly valve jammed.
Call for service.
After running for
a while, the motor
stops.
The high temperature
safety device is activated.
The kitchen is not sufficiently
ventilated.
The hood is installed too
close to the stove.
The range hood must be
installed a minimum of 24”
(61 cm) above an electric
cooktop, and 30” (76 cm) above
a gas cooktop.

Oil cup missing or not

Replace aluminum filter and
