The door has DC voltage only and has a
screwless appearance. The door contains a User
Interface (UI) Board with all tactile switches on
the board. Some models have a seven-segment
display; others have LED indicator lights. The
door also houses the detergent module, bottom
door seal and a venting system (see the
Dry
System
section in this service guide).
Door Removal
1. Remove power to the dishwasher, close and
latch the door.
2. Remove the toe kick and insulation, if
applicable.
3. Disconnect the door wire harness at the
bottom of the main control cover.
4. Release the wire clip holding the harness
to the tub. Push up on the wire harness to
release the harness.

(LOTO) 6 Step Process prior to beginning
repair.
5. Locate the door balance cable and insert an
Allen wrench or tool formed into a hook (as
shown below).
6. Lift the cable up and slide forward.
7. Slide the cable down and away from the
dishwasher. Do not release tension from the
cable.
