PROBE SELECTION

The frequency of diagnostic ultrasound is inversely proportional to depth of penetration.  

The ES-100VX has 4 interchangeable non-invasive probes with different frequencies.

Probe selection depends on the application.

Detection of Fetal Heart Sounds

Probes to be used:  BT2M20S8C (2.25 MHz) 

Evaluation of fetal heart beat & sounds throughout pregnancy except where fetal 

heart is not developed sufficiently during the first trimester.

Detection of Arterial & Venous Blood Flow

Probes to be used:
