5.2
Insert rope
Insert the rope only once you have carried out all the preparatory works, i.e. you have anchored the rope pulling
machine and attached the load. This means that the rope can be pre-tensioned by hand and placed on the desired
point on the driving wheel without an idle stroke. The rope is placed in the driving wheel as shown in the follow-
ing diagram (also see chapter 2):
1.
Remove fixing screws from cover and remove cover.
2.
Lift rope shaft latch and pivot rope shaft forwards
3.
Loop the rope with the load hook at the bottom.
4.
Place load-bearing rope in guiding pulley.
5.
Place loop in driving wheel keyways from bottom to top.
6.
Pivot rocker upwards using rear operating lever. (until lever clicks into place)
7.
Place empty rope underneath thrust roller.
8.
Swivel rope shaft inwards until it clicks into place so that both ropes are being led through it or lead the
unloaded rope upwards using the relevant guide
(Hoisting is only possible when the rope shaft is locked into the latch)
9.
Push rocker downwards using rear operating lever until lever clicks into place
10. Keep actuator pin pressed in and gently tighten rope using motor.
11. Double check rope placement is correct.
12. Replace cover and secure with the fixing screws.
