Assembling and installation

C.3.1

Preliminary check

Carry out a visual check on the device’s appearance and on any accompanying equipment to see if there
are signs of damage or breakage that may have occurred in transit. If such damage and/or failures are
noted, contact HABASIT immediately. We advise you to also produce photographic evidence of the
damage.

C.3.2

Positioning

IMPORTANT

This operation requires the involvement of a QUALIFIED TECHNICIAN able to carry out and check
correct positioning in observance of current safety regulations:

Make sure there is sufficient operational space for working on the machine.
Position the equipment so that it is stable and at ergonomic height.
Check visually to make sure that no rags, work tools, etc remain on the skiving device.

Adjust the four feet [40] of the base unit to lever the skiving device perfectly.
Connect a suction sleeve to the suction nozzle [9].
