Example: Setting up an LACP
MAD-enabled IRF fabric
Network configuration
As shown in Figure 1 :
•
Set up a two-chassis IRF fabric at the core layer of the network.
•
Use multichassis link aggregations to connect the IRF fabric to the access switches and the
upstream egress routers.
•
Use LACP MAD to detect IRF split.
•
Run OSPF between the IRF fabric and the egress routers.
