Cooling system
The router uses left-to-right airflow for heat dissipation, as shown in
For adequate cooling of the router, follow these guidelines:
•
Plan the installation location for the router based on its airflow direction.
•
Ensure a minimum clearance of 100 mm (3.94 in) around the air inlet and outlet vents on the
router.
•
Make sure that the installation site has a good cooling system.

Grounding
Correctly grounding the router is crucial to lightning protection, anti-interference, and ESD
prevention. Use a good grounding system for the router. Make sure the resistance between the
chassis and the ground is less than 1 ohm.

CAUTION:
Check the resistance of the ESD wrist strap for safety. The resistance reading must be in the range
of 1 to 10 megohm (Mohm) between human body and the ground.
