Removal procedure
CAUTION:
•
Attach a dust cap to any open connector on a fiber PoE patch cord or fiber PoE pigtail to protect
them from contamination.
•
To avoid damage to conductive terminals on a PoE optical transceiver module, use only dust
caps provided with the photoelectric hybrid cable for connectors on a fiber PoE patch cord or
fiber PoE pigtail.
The removal procedure for PoE optical transceiver modules and bail latch transceiver modules are
the same. The procedure for removing a fiber PoE patch cord or fiber PoE pigtail from a PoE optical
transceiver module is the same as that for removing an optical fiber from a bail latch transceiver

To release the latching mechanism when you remove a fiber PoE patch cord or fiber PoE pigtail,
hold the cable and keep it horizontal.
