(1) Wear an ESD wrist strap and make sure the strap makes good skin contact
and is reliably grounded.
(2) Remove the filler panel, if any, from the target power module slot. Keep the
filler panel secure for future use.
(3) Unpack the power module and verify that the power module model is correct.

(4) Correctly orient the power module. Holding the power module handle with one
hand and supporting its bottom with the other, slide the power module slowly
into the slot along the guide rails until the latch of the power module clicks into
the slot. The power module and power module slot have disorientation
rejection designs. If you encounter a hard resistance while inserting the power
module, pull out the power module and insert it again.

Follow the forward inertia to push the power module into the slot so that
the back end of the power module can have a good contact with the
backplane.

To avoid damaging or bending the power module terminals, pull out and
reinstall the power module in case of any misalignment.
