Before you install the fan tray, make sure the fan tray model is compatible with the device and the
airflow direction is as required at the installation site.
在安装风扇模块前，请确认风扇模块型号与设备
匹配且风扇模块的风道方向和安装环境的通风方向要求一致。
To avoid damaging the fan tray and the backplane connectors of the device, insert the fan tray slowly.
If you encounter a resistance or the fan tray tilts, remove the fan tray and reinsert it.
为了避免损坏风
扇模块或背板的连接器端子，风扇模块插入过程中动作要缓慢，如果插入过程阻力较大或风扇模块位
置出现偏斜，必须先拔出风扇模块，然后重新插入。
You can install the fan tray with the adapter facing upwards or downwards. Whether to install the fan
tray with the adapter facing upwards or downwards depends on the device mode. The fan tray and
the fan tray slot each have an alignment hole. Orient the fan tray as indicated by alignment holes.
Ensure that the alignment hole in the fan tray is aligned with that in the device after the fan tray
installation.
风扇模块支持正向安装和反向安装两种安装方式。正向安装时风扇连接器在下，反向安装
时风扇连接器在上。不同机型支持的安装方式不同，您可以使用风扇模块的对位标记判断设备的安装
方式。安装完成后风扇模块的对位标记应该和设备上的对位标记水平对齐。

Ensure electricity safety when you remove a fan tray on an operating device.
在设备运行状态下更换风扇模块时，请注意用电安全。
Never touch a rotating fan on an operating device.
在设备运行状态下更换风扇模块时，请不要接触转动中的风扇，避免被旋转中的风扇划伤.
To prevent an unbalanced fan from causing loud noise, do not touch the fan, even if It is not rotating.
在风扇停止转动后，建议不要碰触风扇扇叶和旋转轴，以免损害风扇的动平衡，导致风扇运转时噪音
加大。
Place the removed fan tray on an anti-static mat or in an anti-static bag.
请将拆卸下来的风扇模块及时放置到防静电垫子上或防静电袋中。

Press the red part of the handle with one hand and pull the fan tray part way out of the slot.
用一只手握紧风扇模块的把手红色部分，将风扇模块拉出来一部分。

Supporting the fan tray bottom with the other hand, pull the fan tray completely out of the slot
along the guide rails.
用另一只手托住风扇模块底部，同时沿着插槽导轨水平缓慢地向外拉出
风扇模块。
The installation procedure is similar with the fan tray adapter facing upwards and downwards. The
following installs the fan tray on an S9820-8C switch with the adapter facing upwards.
Orient the fan tray with the adapter facing upwards. Holding the fan tray handle with one hand and
supporting the fan tray bottom with the other, insert the fan tray slowly into the slot along the guide
rails. Make sure the fan tray has good contact with the backplane connectors. If the
alignmenthole
inthefantrayisalignedwiththatinthedevice,thefantrayisinstalledcorrectly.
正向安装和反向安装的安装方法相似，本文以风扇模块反向安装到S9820-8C设备为例进行介绍。
将风扇连接器朝上，用一只手捏住风扇模块把手，另一只手托住风扇模块底部，将风扇模块沿着插槽
导轨水平插入，直到风扇模块完全进入插槽，并且与背板连接器端子接触良好。此时风扇模块和机箱
上的对位标记水平对齐，表示风扇模块安装正确。
