GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Equipped with supercapacitors, the device uses the vehicle battery’s residual voltage to charge itself and start the en-

The GYSCAP 500E is equipped with six supercapacitors have a combined capacity of 500 Farads.
STATE OF CHARGE OF THE GYSCAP 500E
Press the Power button.
Select the state of charge of the GYSCAP 500E using the
button .
One bar on the digital display : the state of charge of the GYSCAP 500E is insufficient.
Check the section:

Two bars on the digital display : the GYSCAP 500E is not fully charged but can still start a vehicle.
It is still recommended to charge it fully, see the
«charging the GYSCAP 500E ».
Three bars on the digital display : the GYSCAP 500E is fully charged, the starting capacity is optimal.
VEHICLE BATTERY’S STATE OF CHARGE
The GYSCAP 500E displays the vehicle battery’s state of charge. The three indicators indicate whether the battery is fully
charged, partially charged or deeply discharged.
Connect the GYSCAP 500E clamps to the battery, ensure that the polarity is correct.
Press the Power button.
Select the state of charge of the vehicle’s battery using the
button .
One bar on the digital display : the state of charge of the vehicle’s battery is discharged or deeply
discharged. Check the section
«use in starter mode».
Two bars on the digital display : the vehicle’s battery is not fully charged. It’s impossible to start the
vehicle.

Two bars on the digital display : the vehicle’s battery is fully charged.
If the vehicle does not start, the problem is not battery related.
Locate the source of the problem prior to any other starting attempt.
