AB SWIFT
is designed for healthy adults. However, the device
should be used with care. Read the following guidelines and the instruction
manual before using the product.
• Applying electrodes in the thorax area may increase the risk of
cardiac fi brillation.
• Using the GYMFORM
®
AB SWIFT while connected to high-frequency
surgical equipment may cause burns at the contact points of the
GYMFORM
®
AB SWIFT and may result in damage to the product.
• Operation of a short-wave therapeutic device or microwave oven in
the general vicinity (e.g. 1 metre away) may cause instability in the
output power of the GYMFORM
®
AB SWIFT.
• This is a powerful electrical muscle stimulation device and
may cause injury if you start with the most advanced exercise
programme right away. Start with a lower level and gradually
increase the intensity.
• Do not use on children or animals.
• Do not use while driving or sleeping or if you feel drowsy.
• Do not use in the bathroom or in other places with a high amount of
moisture or humidity.
• This device may be used by children aged 8 and over, by people with
reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities, and by people lacking
in experience and knowledge if they are appropriately supervised
or given suitable instructions on the safe use of the device and
understand the dangers its use en tails. Children should not be
allowed to play with the device. The cleaning and maintenance to
be performed by the user should not be done by children without
supervision.
• AVOID using the Gymform® AB SWIFT near devices that emit
electromagnetic waves, such as telecommunication antennas,
microwave ovens and X-ray equipment. It may interfere with these
devices.
• How long the electrodes last will depend on the kind of skin,
intensity level used and environmental and storage conditions. For
best results, we recommend replacing them after approximately 30
sessions. Spare electrodes are available at the point of sale where
you purchased the product. If you notice the electrodes lose power
too soon, moisten them with a damp cloth.

• If you have an electronic implant (such as a pacemaker) or suffer from
another heart problem.
• If you are, or think you might be, pregnant.
• If you have cancer, epilepsy or are under medical supervision for a
cognitive disorder.
• If you are breastfeeding.
• If you have a high fever.
Women: before using your GYMFORM
®
AB SWIFT, you should wait:
• At least six months after the birth of your child (after consulting your
doctor).
• A month after having an intrauterine device (IUD)
fi
tted.
• At least three months after having a caesarean section (after consulting
your doctor).
• Until after the

rst days of your menstrual period.
Before using GYMFORM
®
AB SWIFT, you should obtain permission
from your doctor or physiotherapist:
• If you suffer from back problems. In this case, the device should only be
used at low intensity levels.
• If you suffer from a serious disease or injury not mentioned in this section.
• If you were operated on recently.
• If you are diabetic and take insulin.
- Do not place one receiver on your chest and another on your back in such
a way that electricity passes through your heart. Do not place the receiver
on genitals, scars, moles, varicose veins or the head.
• Do not place the receiver on recent scars, in
fl
amed skin, infected areas or
areas that are susceptible to acne, thrombosis or other vascular problems
(e.g. varicose veins), or any part of your body with limited sensitivity.
• Do not place the receiver on areas with injuries or limited mobility (e.g.
fractures or sprains).
• Do not place the receiver directly on metal implants. It should be placed
on the closest muscle.
Possible Adverse Reactions
There have been isolated reports of skin reactions caused by the use of
electro-stimulation devices, including allergies, prolonged skin redness and
acne.
If any of these symptoms occur, switch off the device and consult your doctor.

• Do not attach two self-adhesive electrodes together.
• If any of the electrodes is not attached properly, you will notice an itching
sensation.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. To use the
GYMFORM
®
AB SWIFT
, 1 3V CR-2032 battery is required
for each receiver (2) and for the remote control (1) (not included). Slide off
the cover and insert the battery with the positive end (+) facing up. Close
the battery compartment cover.
2. Attach each receiver (2) to each self-adhesive electrode (3) using the
2 snap fasteners and make sure it is properly attached.
3. Remove the protective plastic backing from the self-adhesive electrode (3).
4. Place the self-adhesive electrode (3) on the part of the body to be treated.
Figure A provides examples of the areas that can be treated at the same time.
5. Press the receiver ON/OFF button (5) to turn on the receiver. The
receiver indicator light (4) will go on to show it is ready to be used.
INSTRUCTIONS
Once you have placed the self-adhesive electrodes (3) on the areas to be
treated, you have to turn on the receivers (2) by pressing the button (5) with
the symbol , which means ON/OFF. Once you have done this, you can
choose from 6 different programmes and 10 intensity levels:
• Button to turn on and increase intensity (6): Press this button to turn on the
receivers and increase the stimulation intensity. Each time you press the
button, the intensity level will be increased (1-10). There are 10 levels in total.
• Button to turn off and reduce intensity (9): Press this button to turn off the
receivers and reduce the stimulation intensity. Each time you press the button,
the intensity level will be reduced (1-10). There are 10 levels in total. The
receivers can be turned off by pressing the button to the lowest intensity level.
• There are 10 stimulation intensity levels. Level 10 is the one that provides
the most stimulation.
• You can change programmes at any time by pressing the
Programme button (8). Each time you press it, a new programme will begin.

Programme 1 Rapid impulses: 18 rapid, consecutive impulses/contractions
every 5 seconds/1-second pause between series.
Programme 2 Massage: 16 medium-deep contractions every 10 seconds/1-
second pause between series.
Programme 3 Combination of 3 different kinds of contractions every 15
seconds/1-second pause between series.
1) Slow-deep contraction
2) Fast impulse
3) Slow-deep contraction
• The maximum recommended time for massaging each part of the body is
10 minutes.
• After using the product, turn off the receivers by pressing the ON/OFF
button (5) with the symbol
Load-detection function
• The receiver indicator light (4) will automatically go out if the device is not
in use for 60 seconds. This function prevents the battery from being used
if you forget to turn off the receivers.
Automatic timer function
• The device is default programmed to run for 10 minutes. It will
automatically shut off when the timer reaches the programmed time.
• When the device is in use (with a stimulation intensity of from 1 to 10), the
automatic timer function will start. When the device is on, if the programme
is changed while it is in use, the time will maintain the same countdown and
the device will automatically shut off when the preset time ends.
