5. Setup Menu Functions
1.
Lens
Select the Lens Type.
2.
Exposure
This feature adjusts the exposure settings.
a.
Shutter:
Flicker-less mode (FLK) reduces on-screen flickering. ESC (Electronic Shutter
Control – Auto) adjusts brightness levels on the screen.
b.
Brightness:
Use this feature to adjust the brightness of the lens.
c.
AGC (Auto Gain Control):
The higher gain level, the brighter the pictures (e.g., Low,
Middle, High).
d.
D-WDR (Digital Wide Dynamic Range):
Use this feature to distinguish a subject in
both bright and dark areas.
i.
On/Off:
Use these options to turn the D-WDR feature on and off.
e.
Return:
Use this function to return to the main menu.
3.
White Balance
This feature control the color on the screen.
a.
ATW I:
Select Auto Tracking White Balance (ATW) when the color temperature is
2500
˚
K~ 9000
˚
K.
b.
ATW2:
Select this option when the color temperature is between 2300k~11000k.
c.
AWC-SET:
Point the camera to a sheet of white paper and press the SET button.
d.
Manual:
Manually increase/decrease the red or blue factor within the image. White
Balance does not work properly under the following conditions. In these cases, select
AWC mode.

Indoor/ Outdoor/ Manual
4.
Backlight Compensation
Use this feature to distinguish between a subject and a background simultaneously. The options
include OFF / BLC / HLC (High Suppress BLC).
a.
HLC:
This feature enables a user to mask the color of high light areas.
5.
Day/Night
Use this feature to display the camera picture in color or in B/W (Black and White).
a.
Color:
Select this mode for full-time color mode.
b.
B/W:
Select this mode for black and white mode.
c.
EXT:
This option enables a user to control DAY/NIGHT by using external signals (for
the IR LED version only).
d.
Auto:
In this mode, the camera automatically detects color or black/white when
ambient illumination is low.
6.
DPC
This feature detects and corrects defective pixels in a camera image sensor array.
6. Special Menu Functions
1.
Cam Title (Camera Name)
Select the Cam Title by using the directional keys on the joystick. If the Cam Title is set to OFF, no
name displays on the monitor.
2.
Motion (Motion Detection)
Use this functionality to detect moving objects in eight different areas on screen. MOTION
DETECTED (MD) displays on the screen when the camera detects movement. Select up to four
different areas.
a.
Off:
Select “Off” to deactivate the motion detection.
b.
On:
Select “On” to activate the motion detection. Select the motion detection area
using the joystick.
3.
Privacy
Mask up to eight areas of the screen from video monitoring with this feature.
a.
Off:
Select this option to deactivate the privacy mode.
b.
On:
Select this option to activate the privacy mode. Set the areas with the joystick.
