Install Outside-accessible SATA HDD/SSD
In order to preserve recording data, the mobile NVR supports four 2.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs, two internal
and the other two outside accessible. This section will guide you to install the outside-accessible SATA
HDDs/SSDs. For the installation of the internal ones, see Install Internal SATA HDDs/SSDs on page 20 .
1. Place the mobile NVR on a flat surface. Find
the SATA storage tray knobs perching on one
side of the mobile NVR. Select either one to
install your SATA HDD/SSD. First loosen the
knob. Then slide out and fully remove the tray
from the mobile NVR.
2. Have a 2.5" SATA HDD/SSD. Place the HDD/
SSD onto the tray. Fasten four M3 F-head
screws to fix the HDD/SSD in place.
3. Slide the tray back into the mobile NVR.
Fully slide it until it cannot be slid any more.
Make sure the SATA connector is firmly
connected.
4. Re-fasten the tray knob.
