Safety Information and Warnings

This appliance is not intended for  use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

This appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-
control system.

This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
- Staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
- Farm houses;
- By clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;

Usage conditions and restrictions 

Domestic use only: This appliance is intended for indoor household use only. It is not suitable for
commercial, industrial or outdoor use. Do not use it for anything other than its intended purpose,
and only use it as described in this manual. Any other use may cause fire, electric shock or injury.

No outdoor use: Do not use the heater outdoors or on wet surfaces. Protect it from liquid spills.

Not a dryer: Do not use the heater to dry clothes.

Usage restriction: This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person
responsible for their safety.

Children: Supervise young children to ensure they do not play with the heater. Close supervision
is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Unattended: Never leave the heater unattended while it is in use. If it must be left operating while
you leave the room temporarily, make sure the heater is out of the reach of children and pets.

Ventilation: Use this heater in a well-ventilated area. Do not insert or allow objects to enter any
openings. To prevent a possible fire, do not block air intakes or exhaust openings in any manner.
Wipe air openings clean if they become clogged.

Location: Place the heater on a flat, steady, stable, dry and heat-resistant surface when operating
to avoid overturning.

Do NOT use the heater the following areas:

Immediately in front of or below an electrical outlet.

Near flammable materials, surfaces or substances (such as furniture, cushions, bedding, papers,

clothes and curtains). Keep such materials at least 1m from the front of the heater and away from
its sides and back.

On or near surfaces that may be damaged by heat (such as delicate rugs, wall  paper, floor

coverings not made of heat-resistant material).
On soft surfaces such as bedding or soft carpeting, where openings may become blocked.

In any areas where petrol, paint or other flammable liquids are stored.

In the immediate surroundings of a bath, shower, laundry tub or swimming pool, or where it

may fall into a tub or other water container.

Outdoors, on wet surfaces, or where it can get splashed with water.

Do not cover: Do not cover the heater in any way as it may overheat and become a fire risk.
