II. Working Principle:
When the ambient temperature reaches 20% RH, the silica particles inside is ready to absorb moisture which the
indicator window shows over 10% absorbent with little difference; while 40% RH, the absorbent reached more than
20%; and above 60% RH, moisture reached more than 34% of the silica particles with big difference. When the
Dehumidifier is in need of re-generation the crystals inside the indicator window will change color from BLUE to
ORANGE. Depending on the level of moisture in an area, a fully charged unit will last on average 20-30 days
before regeneration is needed (results may vary depending on the level of humidity).

IV. APPLICATIONS
Gurin Renewable dehumidifiers are designed to remove moisture from cabinets, closets and other spaces.
V. Regeneration
When the Dehumidifier is in need of re-generation the crystals inside the indicator window will be from
BLUE to ORANGE.
To re-generate the unit, simply plug it into a standard outlet or outlet strip, where the excess moisture can be
released and distributed (i.e. utility room, garage, well-ventilated area). Leave the unit plugged in overnight for
10-15 hours. The Dehumidifier will heat up (this is normal) during the re-generation process. When the drying
process is complete, the crystals inside the indicator window will turn BLUE and the unit is ready to use again. At
this time, turn off the power.
Caution:

Ensure the unit is upright when it is being charged.

Avoid direct contact with water. Do not drop or dismantle.
●
Do not plug in while the indicator window is BLUE.
●
Do not leave plugged in for more than 15 hours.
