* Do not use an ordinary metal sponge or steel
brushes. Small pieces of steel can stick to the surface,
causing rust.
* Do not allow saline solutions, disinfectants, bleaches to
come into contact with the aluminum coating for a long
time. Many of these compounds contain chemicals that can
be harmful. After they get on the hood, rinse with water
and wipe dry with a clean cloth.
* Painted surfaces should be cleaned only with warm
water and mild detergent.
