Never touch the grinding disc in the course of work.

Put the chain in the guide bar.
Set the sharpening angle (2) required for your chain. Fix in place with
the locking screw (1).

Tip the chain stop (1) ahead of the respective link in the direction (2).
Now, set the grinding unit heat by pushing it down carefully (3), use
the setting screw (4) to set the chain position (5). The grinding disc
should neatly fit in the link.
Using the set screw (6), set the depth stop. Set the cut to be done
with the set screw (4) and fix in place.

When all the setting is done, fix the chain in the guide bar with the
locking screw (1)

Switch the unit on by pressing the button (1). Take the grinder head
carefully to the link to be sharpened. Repeat the procedure on each
link of the chain.
Mind the right and left cutting links.
