Switch off the unit before charging. The unit will not charge when switched on.
The product can be charged in 2 ways:

Connect the charger directly into the charging socket on the rear of the product.

Connect the charger into the charging socket located in the bottom of the charging
stand, then place the product on the charging stand.
WARNING:
if the battery is damaged in any way do not attempt to charge it and
replace it immediately.
Fully charge the battery before first use.

WARNING: ONLY USE THE CHARGER PROVIDED WITH THE PRODUCT.
DO NOT ATTEMPT TO USE THE CHARGER WITH ANY OTHER PRODUCT
NOR ATTEMPT TO CHARGE THIS PRODUCT WITH ANOTHER CHARGER
AS THIS MAY DAMAGE THE PRODUCT AND THE BATTERY, AND WILL
INVALIDATE YOUR GUARANTEE.

Plug the charger into a suitable electrical socket and switch on.
The power button will light when the battery is charging.
Note: the light will turn off when the battery is fully charged. For a fully discharged
battery the charge time is 12 hours.
CAUTION: once the battery is fully charged switch off the electrical socket and
unplug the charger from the mains socket.
The unit can be left on the charging stand so it is always ready to use.
