Description
DI-9103 Digital Dual Heat Detector is a new
generation product, connected with intelligent fire
alarm control panel to form fire alarm system. The
detector turns on fire LED to indicate fire alarm
condition and transmits the fire signal to the control
panel.
With P-9910B programmer, the detector can be set at
rate of rise or fixed temperature mode, it has three
alarm points when it is in latter mode.
Wring and Connection
The orientation base DB-01 is shown in Fig. 2

Connection: Detector loop should be connected with
terminals “1” and “3” of the base, polarity-insensitive;
terminals “2” to anode of the remote indicator and “4”
to the cathode.

or above fire cable for detector loop, laid out
through metal conduit or flame-resistant conduit,
subject to local codes. The connection of remote
indicator should use different color cables to distinct
polarity.
Installation
Fix the base with two taping screws. Then align A
(Fig.1) on the bottom of the detector to B (Fig. 2) of the
base, and rotate the detector clockwise to mark C.
Mounting of the detector is shown in Fig. 4.
Mounting of the detector is shown in Fig. 3.

Application
The detector is especially applicable to places where
fire occurs with highly rise of temperature. Used
together with smoke detectors, it can detect fire with
more reliability to reduce losses.
Electrically addressed, the detector is easy to be
programmed by P-9910B Programmer in field. Refer
to P-9910B Hand Held Programmer Installation and
Operation Manual for details.
Device type of the detector is defaulted rate of rise
temperature, which can be changed into fixed
temperature through hand held programmer.
In the
power-on state of the programmer, input an unlocking
password and press
Clear
to unlock the programmer.
Press
Function
, then number 4, the screen will display
“—“ at last digit. Input the parameter, press
Program
,
the screen will display “P” meaning the relevant
parameter has been written in. Press
Clear
to remove
that. Input locking password, then press
Clear
to
return. Enter number 4 to set the detector as fixed
temperature, and 2 as rate of rise temperature.
When the detector sets at fixed temperature, it has
three sensitivities. In power on state of the
programmer, input an unlocking password and press
Clear
to unlock the programmer. Press
Function
, then
number 3, the screen will display “—“ at last digit.
Input the related sensitivity (1, 2, 3 for sensitivity I, II,
III individually), press
Program
, the screen will display
“P” meaning the related sensitivity level has been
written in. Press
Clear
to remove that. Input locking
password, then press
Clear
to return.
Maintenance
