AND YOU PLACE THE SIMCARD WITH THE CLIPPED CORNER AS SHOWN IN THE

Powering GSM Multi Switch
Connect 240 volts to the input connector as per figure 1. Once power has been applied the
blue
network LED light will flash once every second. Once a signal has been found the
green
LED will come on and stay on indicating the unit is now ready for use.
Signal Strength
To check the strength of the signal received please send a text message

The unit will reply back with a score from 1 - 30. The unit must have a score of at least 10 to
work effectively. Anything less than 10 will make the unit unreliable.
2G 3G 4G
The 2G/3G/4G Multi Switch can work on both the 2G , 3G and 4G networks. You can choose
which network the unit will use at the start up via different combinations on the dipswitch
Dipswitch 1 ON The unit will boot up in 3G or 4G, whichever is strongest for the area
Dipswitch 1 OFF The unit will boot up in 2G only
With Dipswitch 1 on the unit will do search for the strongest out of 3G or 4G. A slow flashing
blue
light indicates it is on 3G and a fast flashing
blue
light indicates it is on 4G. We do not
lock to 3G or 4G as the signal strengths vary massively from location to location.
We strongly recommend checking the signal strength on both dipswitch settings and using which
has the highest signal strength score. The signal strength should be at least a score of 10 for
reliability.
