Safety Characteristics and
Certification
This controller is Safety Class I according to IEC classification and has been designed to meet the require-
ments of UL 61010-1 third edition and CAN/CSA-C22.2 nº 61010-1 third edition (Safety Requirements for
Electrical Equipment for Measurement, Control and Laboratory Use). It is an Installation Category II
intended for operation from a normal single phase supply.
This controller has been tested in accordance with IEC61010-1 and has been supplied in a safe condition.
This instruction manual contains some information and warnings which have to be followed by the user to
ensure safe operation and to retain the instrument in a safe condition.
Emission standards
This controller has been designed to meet the requirements of the EMC Directive 2004/108/EC. The com-
pliance was demonstrated by meeting the test limits of the following standards:
