4. Compact Disc

Skip Function

By briefly pressing the 

ľľ

/

ıı

button during playback, you

can skip to the beginning of the current track or any other
track number.

Forward Skip Function

Each time you press the 

ıı

button, the next track number

appears on the display and playback starts at the beginning of
the selected track (the pause function remains activated).

If you have accidentally skipped over the desired track, press
the 

ľľ

to skip back to this or any other track.

Example: If you want to skip from track 3 to track 5, press the

ıı

button twice.

Reverse Skip Function

As for forward skip, but with the 

ľľ

button.

For example, to skip from track 5 to track 3, press the 

ľľ

button three times.

Starting with a Specific Track

You can start playback with any track you wish and then con-
tinue playback to the end of the CD.

Briefly press the  

ıı

(forward) or 

ľľ

(reverse) button, until

the desired track number appears on the display.

Press the  

İ

Ƿ

PLAY PAUSE button.

Playback begins with the desired track and the display shows
the number of the track now playing.

Playing the Beginning of Each Track (Intro Scan
Play)

You can play the first ten seconds of each track on the CD.

Press the INTRO button. The display shows INTROSCAN.

Intro scanning always begins with the first track. By pressing
the 

ľľ

or 

ıı

buttons, you can introscan the previous track

or the next track.

The INTROSCAN function stops when
– the end of the CD is reached,
– the STOP button is pressed,
– the INTRO button is pressed again

(the display no longer shows INTROSCAN).

Programmed Playback

(Playback of the CD tracks in the order you selected).

Press the STOP button.
Programming can only be done in STOP mode.

Press the MEMO button.
MEMORY and TRACK flash on the display.

The following functions can only be carried out when
MEMORY and TRACK are flashing.

Select the desired track with the  SKIP/ SEARCH 

ıı

or 

ľľ

buttons.

Press the MEMO button to save the desired track in the
memory.

Repeat these steps for other tracks. Up to 20 tracks of your
choice can be saved.
The same track can also be saved several times.

Press the 

İ

Ƿ

PLAY/PAUSE button to play back you “pro-

gramme”.

Press the STOP button to end programmed playback.
