  Note that the data transmission range can 

be as much as 9 m, depending on the Blue-

tooth device that is used and the structure of 

the building.

Logging out the Bluetooth auxiliary 

device

 Log out the Bluetooth auxiliary device that is 

currently logged on.

–  The » « logo flashes.

Reactivating a Bluetooth auxil-

iary device that is logged on

 If you move out of data transmission range or 

switch  off  Bluetooth  mode,  the  Bluetooth  de-

vice is logged out.

 You only have to log Bluetooth auxiliary de-

vices on once.

  When the Bluetooth auxiliary device moves 

back into signal range of the MS 540, the 

auxiliary device logs on automatically.

  The MS 540 connects first to the last Blue-

tooth auxiliary device that was logged on.

 If the Bluetooth auxiliary device is not recog-

nised, it has to be activated again via its own 

menu.

  If it is not possible to connect to a Bluetooth 

auxiliary  device  that  was  registered  previ-

ously, remove your MS 540 from the Blue-

tooth  auxiliary  device's  device  list  and  re-

peat the search and connection procedure.

Compatible with the following 

devices

Your  MS  540  can  be  connected  to  any  com-

mercially  available  Bluetooth-compatible  de-

vices that comply with the A2DP standard. This 

includes  smartphones,  laptops  and  tablet  PCs, 

for example.

Finding and connecting a  

Bluetooth auxiliary device

 Activate  the  Bluetooth  function  on  the  

Bluetooth auxiliary device.

 Start the search function on the Bluetooth aux-

iliary device.

–  After a short time, your MS 540 will be dis-

played on the Bluetooth auxiliary device.

 Select the MS 540 on the Bluetooth auxiliary 

device and connect to it.

 When  the  Bluetooth  auxiliary  device  is  con-

nected to your device, the » « lights up.

Note:

 Your  MS  540  can  only  receive  and  play 

the audio signal from one Bluetooth device; 

however, up to 8 Bluetooth auxiliary devices 

can be logged on.
