1. Switch on the device to DAB mode.
2. Press and hold the PLAY/PAUSE/SEL button to
display the menu.
3. Press UP or DOWN button to choose DRC, then
press PLAY/PAUSE/SEL­ button to confirm.
4. Press UP or DOWN button to choose the desired
DRC level from ‘ DRC­high ’, ‘ DRC­low ’, or ‘ DRC­
off ’.
5.­ Press the PLAY/PAUSE/SEL to confirm.
6. You may press the STOP,­ALBUM/MEMORY­UP
or DN button to exit the menu.
Removing­DAB­radio­stations­from­
the­station­list
If you move to a different part of the country, you
should remove DAB radio stations, which are no
longer available, from the station list. These DAB ra-
dio stations are marked with “
?
“.
1.
Switch on the device to DAB mode.
2.
Pressing and holding the
PLAY/PAUSE/SEL
but-
ton, the LCD will show the menu of the device.
3.
Press briefly the
UP
or
DOWN
button to choose
“Prune”, then press
PLAY/PAUSE/SEL
button to
confirm;
4.
The display will show “
Prune
”, “
No
”, “
Yes
”. If you
want to remove the unavailable stations from the list,
you can press the
UP
or
DOWN
button to choose
“
Yes
,”, then press the
PLAY/PAUSE/SEL
button
again to confirm the removal.
5.
After these operations, you will find only available
stations are in the list.
FM­radio­mode
1.
For the best ‘
FM
’. reception, it is sufficient to extend
the telescopic antenna and direct it accordingly.
2.
Press the
MODE/INFO
button until the display is
showing ‘
FM
’.
Automatic­tuning­FM­radio­stations
1.
Start the automatic station search by pressing and
holding down the
UP
or
­DOWN
button. The search
stops when a station is found.
Manual­tuning­FM­radio­stations
1. To move the frequency forward or backward in
steps, briefly press UP or ­DOWN button. The fre-
quency changes in steps of 50kHz.
RADIO­MODE­________________________________
Automatic­tuning­station­(ATS)
1.
Activate the
ATS
by pressing and holding
PROG/
MEM/STOP
button until the frequency display
changes to rapid run through.
- The device searches for up to 20 radio stations and
then saves them. After the search has finished, the
station stored in position 01 can be heard.
Storing­FM­radio­stations­to­presets
You can store
FM
radio stations on 20 presets.
1.
Press
ON/OFF
button to switch on the device.
2.
Press and hold
UP
or
­DOWN
button to tune to the
desired
FM
station.
3.
Press the
PROG/MEM/STOP
button to display the
preset store list.
4.
Press the
ALBUM/MEMORY­UP
or
DN
button to
choose the desired preset number.
5.
Press the PROG/MEM/STOP button again to store
the FM station into preset list.
Note: You can replace a station on a preset with a
new one by carrying out steps 2 to 5 as described
above.
Selecting­stored­FM­stations­from­
presets
1.
Select the FM station you want with ALBUM/MEM-
ORY UP or DN button to choose the stored stations
from presets.
Stereo­/­Mono­reception
If the device receives a FM stereo station, and if the
signal from the FM stereo station is weak, you can
improve the sound quality by switching to mono re-
ception.
1. Switch to mono reception by pressing MODE/INFO
button.
2. Switch to stereo reception by pressing this button
again.
