5.3 Freezing Fresh Food
Do not freeze too large a
quantity at any one time. The
quality of the food is best
preserved when it is frozen right
through to the core as quickly as
possible.
Placing warm food into the
freezer compartment causes
the refrigeration compressor to
operate continuously until the
food is frozen solid. This can
temporarily lead to excessive
cooling of the refrigeration
compartment. To freeze fresh
food in a short time, use quick
freeze function by turning the
thermostat knob towards “
“ icon. When the process ends,
the product will regain its last
thermostat position. Small
quantities of food up to 1/2 kg.
(1 lb) can be frozen without
having to rotate the temperature
control knob.
Take special care not to mix
already frozen food and fresh
food.
To obtain the best result, apply
the following instructions:
1. Activate the quick free-
zing function by turning
the thermostat knob
towards “ “ icon 24
hours before placing
your fresh foods.
2. After 24 hours after ac-
tivation of quick freezing
function, first place your
food that you want to
freeze to the top drawer
with higher freezing ca-
pacity. Place your rema-
ining food, if any, to the
the second drawer.
3. The quick freezing func-
tion will be automati-
cally inactivated after 25
hours.
4. Do not try to freeze a
large quantity of food at
a time. Within 24 hours,
this product can free-
ze the maximum food
quantity specified as
«Freezing Capacity …
kg/24 hours» on its type
label. It is not convenient
to put more unfrozen/
fresh foods to the freezer
compartment than the
quantity specified on the
label.
