Operation with external data equipment

To connect a digital camera or external data medium, press »

switch the DVD player to standby. Connect the device and then
switch the DVD player on again.
Even if you disconnect the USB, the DVD recorder must first be
switched to standby, otherwise files can be damaged.

Connecting external data devices

Connect the USB interface »

corresponding socket on the data device (digital camera, card
reader or MP3 player) using a USB cable

plug the memory stick into the USB interface »

Note:

You can connect multiple devices to the USB interface »

Preparation

Switch on the television.
Select the preset on the television for the DVD recorder.

Note:

A bi-directional data transfer as defined for ITE (Information
Technology Equipment) devices in EN 55022/EN 55024 is
not possible.
USB transfer is not in itself an operating mode. It is only an
additional function.
