Remove the battery compartment cover on the back of the device.

Insert a battery (LR 03/AM 4/AAA) in the battery compartment.
Make sure the polarity of the battery is as marked on the bottom of
the compartment.

Push the battery compartment cover back in.
Note:
If you are not going to use the device for a long period of time,
remove the battery from the compartment. Remove a flat battery
immediately.
Do not dispose of the used battery with domestic refuse. Always
dispose of used batteries according to the regulations which apply
in your area.
