Priming the pump
DANGER
Electric shock
Death or serious personal injury
- Check that the power plug delivered
with the product is in compliance with
local regulations.
- Make sure that the pump is connected
only to a properly grounded,
grounding-type receptacle (protective
earthing).
- The protective earth of the power outlet
must be connected to the protective
earth of the pump. The plug must
therefore have the same PE connection
system as the power outlet. If not, use a
suitable adapter.
The electrical connection must be carried
out by an authorised electrician in
accordance with local regulations.
DANGER
Electric shock
Death or serious personal injury
- The pump must be connected to an
external main switch with a minimum
contact gap of 3 mm (0.12 inch) in all
poles.
Do not start the pump until it has been
filled with liquid.
If the suction depth exceeds 6 m (20 ft), it
may be necessary to prime the pump more
than once.
Always tighten priming and drain plugs by
hand.
