Lifting points (bottom)
S pumps, ranges 66-70, are equipped with a lifting bracket on the
motor top cover and with a lifting bracket on the lower bearing
bracket. See fig.

S pumps, ranges 50 and 62, are equipped only with a lifting
bracket on the motor top cover. Use the pump outlet as the lower
lifting point. In this case, lift by means of a lifting strap or a lifting
chain secured below the pump outlet. See fig.

3.1.2 Raising the pump to upright position
Carelessness during lifting or transportation may cause injury to
persons or damage the pump.

- Make sure the lifting bracket or
strap is tightened before
attempting to lift the pump.
Tighten if necessary.

- Do not stand under or next to
the pump when raising it to
upright position in order to
avoid being crushed in case
the pump overturns.
- Make sure the pump is raised
gently into upright position to
avoid the lifting chain slipping
off the crane when the pump is
not in balance.
